Numbers. They reveal a lot about your business. Your wins. Your losses. How bright your tomorrow looks.
They are the foundation of your success. And that can make them even more intimidating.
You know you need to know your numbers.
But do you?
Don’t you wish you had a better idea of your balance sheet? A clearer picture of your P&L? And most importantly how they all come together for the future of your business?
Stonewall Finance provides all that. Yes, we can help you get a better view of your numbers, but more importantly we help you understand how they can work for you. Simply put, we help you understand what your numbers say and translate that into a foundation for success.
Katie Johnston
CPA, Co-Founder
When it comes to guiding the finances of your business, there’s no one better or more well-rounded than Katie Johnston.
Katie began her career in KPMG’s audit practice, serving clients from a variety of industries, from manufacturing to banking and investment management funds. While at KPMG she developed expertise in auditing both private companies and publicly traded corporations.
She then moved to the business sector, serving a FORTUNE 100 company in the Technology sector. There she was involved in both arenas of a CFOs world: accounting and FP&A. Her experience has given her exposure to mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, and more. She likes to think of the Finance team as a valuable partner to the other areas of the business.
After stepping away from the corporate world to focus on family for a few years, she returned to Finance as founder of Stonewall Finance, where she can bring her skills to support small to mid-market business owners.
Her 15 years experience have provided her with an in-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost review and analysis for internal and external users of the financial statements. That in-depth knowledge of the full accounting spectrum, including controllership, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, financial statement reporting analysis, and audit, provides all Stonewall clients with the leadership and experience needed to help run their businesses with confidence.
When not running Stonewall — or out for a run — she serves as CMO (Chief Mom Operator) of four children, her husband and schnauzer.
